The Recreational Fisheries Research Institute (RFRI) is dedicated to developing fishery data collection, fish habitat restoration, and catch-and-release practices in Louisiana. The institute also fosters partnerships between recreational anglers and scientists to conserve resources while maintaining the spirit of fishing.

To help raise awareness with its endeavor, RFRI sought to enhance its visual identity and online presence and connected with POLA Marketing to achieve this goal. The POLA team was excited about the opportunities to help with the institute’s noble cause.

POLA’s rebrand of RFRI included creating a brand book to refresh and add consistency to the institute’s visual identity. Once established, our graphic design team began creating print collateral featuring accordion-style mailer cards, business cards, envelopes, and waterproof cards with bags.

Our web development team also redesigned RFRI’s website with a user-friendly platform that effectively communicates its mission and achievements. The institute’s website now captures the essence of RFRI’s commitment to recreational angling and citizen-scientist collaboration, thus ensuring the website becomes a compelling hub for information and engagement.
