The historical Holy Angels Bywater Hotel and Residences resides in one of the most culturally rich and vibrant neighborhoods of New Orleans, the Bywater. The hotel’s property was home to the Marianites of Holy Cross for 165 years, founded in 1849.

The historic site has survived the Civil War, yellow fever outbreaks, and Hurricane Katrina. The Marianites ran the convent, operated a high school, and ministered to the needy until 2014. The memory of the Marianites’ devotion to the property lives on as the J Collection ushers in a new era.

The Holy Angels Bywater Hotel and Residences is a part of the J Collection’s portfolio of independent hotels in New Orleans and the Gulf South. The POLA team works with the J Collection, providing creative and marketing services, including rebrands, web designs, SEO, social media, and digital advertising.
