Fleetwood Heating & Cooling of Paw Paw, Michigan, resides between South Haven and Kalamazoo and has served the people of Southwest Michigan for over 45 years.

The service team installs within a 40-mile radius and gives free estimates to all customers. Fleetwood also has an inventory of HVAC products, including ductwork parts and complete heating and cooling systems.

Founder Bill Fleetwood, a millwright by trade, moved with his family to Bloomingdale, Michigan, in 1976. At first, he had no intention of switching careers, but one day his home’s furnace went out, and he couldn’t find any company to replace it at a cost-effective price or in a timely manner.

The complications he encountered fueled Fleetwood to go to an auction and buy a truckload of furnaces. His new mission was “to do things the right way and to help as many people as possible.”

So Fleetwood began selling furnaces at a lower cost than others in the industry.

“Well, they sold faster than he thought they would,” said Nick Fleetwood, grandson of Bill, “So he went back and did it again and realized he’d found a way to quit his day job and open up his own business.”

Today, Fleetwood Heating & Cooling has a 12,000-square-foot warehouse with a deep inventory of full-service HVAC systems, parts, and more, allowing the Fleetwood team to respond to customers adequately.
